London, UK. 29th October 2016. Protesters set up a living room and a mock fracking rig on the pavement outside Barclays at Piccadilly Circus. A mother and daughter from Rydale whose homes there are being fracked made themselves at home on the sofa and tea and specially baked biscuits are offered around. Barclays is hoping to make large profits from its investments in fracking and this protest organised by Frack Off London and Divest London in collaboration with Frack Free Ryedale was one of many at branches across the country.
