David Shook, a designated marksman with 5th Platoon, Charlie Company, Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team, Central Command (FASTCENT), fires the M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System during live-fire range operations. “There isn’t a better feeling than knowing you can see and engage a target when the target can’t see you or reach you,” said Shook. FASTCENT provides expeditionary antiterrorism and security forces to embassies, consulates and other vital national assets throughout the region.
