Diamond, Missouri - A bust of George Washington Carver, sculpted by Audrey Corwin, at the George Washington Carver National Monument. The monument preserves the Moses and Susan Carver farm where Carver was born as a slave in about 1864. It was the first National Monument to honor an African-American.
