May 10, 2006 - The 12th-century mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar in ancient Merv near the town of Mary in Turkmenistan is the largest of Seljuk mausoleums and the first dated mosque-style mausoleum complex known. Its sides measure 27 metres with two opposite entrances.
