The Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel rises in the background. *** Sun Princess is a Sun-class cruise ship built in 1995 and operated by Princess Cruises. At the time of her construction, she was one of the largest cruise ships in the world. She is the lead ship of her class that includes sister ships Dawn Princess, Sea Princess and the P&O ship, Oceana. *** Canada Place is a building situated on the Burrard Inlet waterfront of Vancouver, British Columbia. It is the home of the Vancouver Convention Centre, the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel, Vancouver's World Trade Centre, and FlyOver Canada (a virtual flight ride which replaced the world's first permanent IMAX 3D theatre and which ceased operation on October 1, 2009). The building's exterior is covered by fabric roofs resembling sails. It is also the main cruise ship terminal for the region, where most of Vancouver's famous cruises to Alaska originate. *** The Pan Pacific Vancouver has 504 rooms and suites and several restaurants and a lounge. The Hotel is operated by Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts. *** Description sourced from Wikipedia.
