You can see abstract shapes and beauty all around you, if you train yourself to see them in even mundane everyday objects. The starting point for this image showed abstract patterns created by reflections and shadows of a circular metal bench in the lively Gloucester Green Market, Oxford. But then I got adventurous and turned it into something more colourful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including image folding, rotation, multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping. I hope you like it!
