Srinagar, Indian Administered . A Relatives of disappeared take part in a sit-in protest to mark International Human Rights Day on Sunday. The protest was organized by Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP) led by chairperson Parveena Ahangar seeking the whereabouts of their relatives, who have allegedly disappeared in custody since in 1989. According to APDP, some eight thousand persons went missing after being arrested by Security Resistance Leadership (JRL), a separatist conglomerate, has called the protest march to the headquarters of the UN Military Observers Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) in Sonawar to highlight human rights violations in Kashmir.©Sofi Suhail/Alamy Live News
