One hunter died of a heart attack while hunting each year. No trapping permits were issued in either 1947 or 1948, indicating the present lack of interest in harvesting Wildlife officers net stranded fish from a South Florida drainage ditch for removal to deep water. Florida Wildlife Federation The Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission has made a great deal of progress during the past two years.
