It was the custom for a prophet or a king toride upon an animal like this, and they believed that at lasttheir great Prophet and King was coming to his own ! Some ran ahead and threw down their outside garmentsof blue and yellow and brown upon the dusty road for him toride over, while others cut green branches from the trees andcast them before him.
