Newcastle upon Tyne Guildhall

Newcastle merchants and tradesmen first established the a meeting place for the guilds in 13th century, later in 1655, Robert Trollop designed a new building and while some of the 17th century interior features remain the exterior of the building as now seen dates from various changes made in the early 19th century. The Guildhall currently houses a tourist information centre.
