Ukraine's oil terminal in Pivdenny (Yuzhny in Russian) with throughput capacity of 280,000 b/d was launched in 2001 and since 2004 operates in reversal mode shipping up to 200,000 b/d of Russian and Kazakh crude to load in tankers. The terminal accepts tanker of Afromax class (up to 130kt deadweight) and has storage capacity of some 120,000 cubic meters of crude. The terminal is operated by Ukraine's oil pipeline monopoly UkrTransNafta.
