Onlytwo children were born of this union: WilliamB., whose name introduces this sketch; and LouisaJane, wife of Milton L. Skinner, who is engagedin the sawmill business at Milanville, Penn. Thefather is a firm Democrat in politics, an earnest ad-vocate of the. Monroe doctrine, and for severalyears has most efficiently served as a justice of thepeace ; he has also been supervisor and school di-rector. He and his wife are connected with theMethodist Church, and they are numbered amongthe most highly esteemed and honored citizens oftheir community. The subject of this sketch was born October.
