Looking SSE at the six stones of Kinnell Bronze Age stone circle situated in parkland SW of Kinnell House, Killin, Stirling, Scotland, UK.

Looking SSE at the six stones of Kinnell stone circle situated in parkland SW of Kinnell House, Stirling, Scotland, UK. The two tallest stones up to 2m high are at the SW (R) of an ellipse or flattened circle aligned SW-NE. Cup-marks are sometimes found on the faces of standing stones, but here the top surface of the northernmost stone (front L) is carved with three of them. At least one of the stones has been re-erected & the whole circle has the look of an C18th or C19th antiquarian eye-catcher close to the former home of the MacNab of MacNab, but "Such six-stone rings are common in central Scotland."
