Just before the service Mr. Bingham wentwith Kaumualii to the house of Kaahumanu to induceher, if possible, to attend meeting with her immediately ordered her covered wagon to be madeready and, being drawn by her servants, rode with severalothers to the chapel, attended by a large company ofchiefs and people.
