Sikh Nagar Kirtan Procession. Up to 15,000 Sikhs took part in a colourful religious procession through the city’s streets today to mark the 550th birthday of the founder of the religion Nanak Dev Ji. The annual brightly-coloured Nagar Kirtan procession, set off from the Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara in East Park Road, and followed a route through the city to Holy Bones, near St Nicholas Circle.
