Gaza, Palestine. 01 November 2019. Palestinians protesters clash with Israeli forces in Abu Safya, in the northern Gaza Strip, during this Friday’s demonstrations. According to the Gaza health ministry dozens of protesters were injured by live bullets or rubber-coated rounds and by tear gas fired by the Israeli army in today’s demonstrations along the Gaza-Israeli border. Palestinians had convened in several locations along the Gaza Strip’s border with Israel on Friday afternoon as part of the weekly Great Return Marches calling for the lift of the tight 12-years-long Israeli blockade on Gaza.

Palestinians had convened in several locations along the Gaza Strip’s border with Israel on Friday afternoon as part of the weekly Great Return Marches calling for the lift of the tight 12-years-long Israeli blockade on Gaza. Some protesters hurled rock towards the fence and the Israeli forces on the other side, and according to Israeli sources some Molotov cocktails and explosive devices were also thrown toward the security barrier which separates the Gaza Strip from the Israeli territory. Over 310 Palestinians have been killed and thousands have been injured by Israeli soldiers since the Great March of Return protests began at the Gaza border on March 30, 2018
