Proboscis well developed ; palpi upturned and reaching vertex of head ; antennae with the shaft dilated at middle, especially in female, bipectinate, with short branches dilated at extremity; tibiae with the spurs moderate; thorax clothed with woolly hair ; abdomen with subdorsal tufts of hair on first two segments.
