The Oviducts or Fallopian Ttibes, Minute cylindrical openings from the superior andlateral portion ot the uterus, about three inches inlength and terminating in fimbriated or finger-likeextremeties. The latter are minute muscular bodies,which grasp the ovum as it bursts through the mem-branes of the ovary, and convey it into the oviducton its way to the uterus.
