Large=Leaved Weeping (Grandidenta Pen- dula)—A variety having, when grafted standard high, long, slender branches, like cords, which droop very gracefully ; foliage large, dark, shining green, and deeply serrated. One of the finest weep- ing trees in cultivation. WILLOW ( Salix.) American Weeping (Purpurea Pendula) —An American dwarf, slender branched species ; grafted five or six feet high, it makes one of the most ornamental of small weeping trees; more hardy than the Babylonica. Kilmarnock Weeping ( Caprea Pendula )— An exceedingly graceful tree, with large, glossy leaves ; very hardy. Weeping (Babylonica)—The well-known common weeping willow.
