A little below the cupped entrance isa dense plug of this granular substance. Below thisplug the central vessel is seen, the walls of which aresomewhat thickened, and its lumen almost entirely filledby a connective tissue growth composed of line reticularfibrous connective tissue, small spindle cells with longprocesses, and small round cells.
