The 2nd Battalion, 70th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division from the United States won the Shoot Off portion of the 2018 Strong Europe Tank Challenge. The Strong Europe Tank Challenge is an annual training event co-hosted by Army Europe and the German Army and is designed to give participating nations a dynamic, productive and fun environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.
