The Carnegie Libraries and Reading Rooms, theCarnegie Art Gallery, and the Carnegie Museum, withits wonderful ethnological exhibits, are open to students,and the opportunities of the local Young MensChristian Association also, including its excellentlecture course, are placed gratuitously at their Allegheny County Sabbath-school Association isone of the most notable in the entire country, beingalive to all modern improvements, and from year toyear it provides courses of lectures on Bible Instruc-tion and Sabbath-school methods by the most expertinstructors of the day. These lectures are open to ourstudents. Several other lecture courses are accessibleeach winter, and there are unusual musical opportuni-ties, Pittsburgh ranking among the great musicalcenters of the continent. 61. Ninety-fifth Annual CATALOGUE Examinations At the conclusion of each branch of study, or at theclose of the session, written examinations are these examinations and the class-room work theterm grade of the student is determined. This gradeis reported to his Presbytery. His attendance also isreported. A failure to be present at the examination withouta satisfactory excuse involves a loss of grade. Every student who has completed the requiredcourse of study and has passed the examinations, andwhose character is satisfactory, receives a diploma. Opening and Closing Exercises The opening of the next session and enrollment ofstudents will take place on Wednesday, September 22,1920, at 2 oclock , in the Pressly Chapel, Semi-nary Building. The opening address wall be deliveredby the Rev. Homer B. Henderson, of Detroit, Mich.,the President of the Board of Directors. The baccalaureate sermon at the close of the yearwill be
