In growth they resem- ble the Gladioli, and produce spikes of "the most brilliant flow- ers in the various shades of or- ange, yellow, red, etc. The fol- lowing are the most desirable varieties, and are offered at a price that should induce every- body to try them: Crocosmiflora. Deep golden orange. A very fine variety in every particular. GerbedeOr. (Golden Sheaf.) Splendid golden-yellow. One of the best. Rayon de Or. Rich yellow and brown. Rosea. Bright rose. Very distinct. Price, any variety, 5 cts.; 3 for 10 cts. 3 each of the four varieties, 25 cts. ENSETE. (Abyssinian Banana.) We know of no other plant that produces _j striking an effect as a well grown speci- men of Musa. Imagine a plant 12 to 15 feet high with massive leaves eight feet or more ' length by thirty inches broad, and you have __me idea of its appearance. It is of remark- able rapid growth: a small plant attaining the height of 10 to 12 feet in a single season. A well grown specimen will attract more atten- tion than anv other plant we have ever grown. Mrs. J. C. Kirk, of Canfield.
