Barren dreary rocksflank the shores, fog-hung and storm-worn, inhabitedby cormorants and murres. To the south, guardingthe entrance, is Point Lobos, with the Seal Rocks offshore where herds of sea lions bask in the sun or fishin the adjacent water.
