Let it be understood thatthe problem of colored photography cannot be admitted into our discussion thisevening. It remains, up to the present, practically unsolved, and bids fair to bafflethe scientist for some time to come, notwithstanding it has been the fondest dreamof the photographer for more than half a century to reproduce Nature in all her variedhues.
