Residents of Raamgracht street in Nieuwmarkt neighbourhood, central Amsterdam protested against plans to sell the building on Raamgracht 4 to Soho House, an international chain hotel. They are concerned about noise made by tourists, taxi drivers and suppliers which would worsen the quality of life of the local inhabitants.
