The night sky and the Milky Way. The photos were taken at 10,000 ft. elevation between the hrs. of 9:45 and 10:30 pm. in early August.
The Milky Way can only be seen in the northern hemisphere during the early fall months. For best clarity It must be viewed away from light pollution caused by artificial light sources. These photos were taken at an elevation of 10,000 ft. above sea level.
