Proboscis fully developed; joalpi porrect, reaching well beyond the frous and fringed with long hair below; frons smooth, without prominence ; eyes small, reniform, ovei'hung by long cilia; antennse of male bipectinate, with short branches ; head and thorax clothed with long rough hair; all the tibiaj spined. Fore wing rather narrow ; the apex rectangular ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from upper angle; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole; 11 from cell.
