Real club de Golf de las Palmas is the oldest golf club in Spain. It was established in 1891 by the large British community who lived and worked in the city. Due to the demand from developers a new course was built and the club moved to its present location (close to the crater “Bandama”) on the outskirts of the city in 1957 is said to be the oldest golf club in Spain.
