PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 25, 2017) Navy Chief Aviation Structural Mechanic David Meador, from Lawrenceville, Ga., mans the rails aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), as the ship prepares to moor at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific.
