Despite sleet and snow thousands of people joined a lantern parade in Bristol, timed to coincide with the the 100 year anniversary of the signing of the Representation of The People Act, which allowed some women to vote in the UK for the first time. At one point a small counter demonstration from a transgender protest group blocked the path of the parade but they were quickly pushed aside. Bristol, UK. 6th February 2018.
