Rulon Gardner, American Olympian in Greco-Roman wrestling, gives advice to Emma Bruntil, a junior and competetive wrestler at Mt. Baker High School, and Col. Terry M. Johnson, commanding officer of the 12th Marine Corps District, after a ceremony where Bruntil was awarded the MaxPreps Athlete of the Month award, Jan 23. Bruntil was recognized for her outstanding achievements in academics, athletics and citizenship that demonstrate her fighting spirit on and off the mat.
