Whithorn Priory Museum: C10th Anglian headstone (7). Circular head, central boss, expanded-armed cross with sunken armpit circles, interlace ornament on the shaft. A fine example of the Anglo-Norse Whithorn School of carving. The museum has been refurbished since this photograph was taken in May 1991.
