Mural on lobby ceiling of The Pfister, a grand old hotel in downtown Milwaukee. In 1993, mural artists from Conrad Schmitt Studios painted directly onto the vaulted ceiling, creating a scene of ethnically diverse cherubs alighting through subtle clouds and framed with 26 warm, red shields to recall the lobby’s original skylight.
