(Jun. 28, 2022)- Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 2 look at the central processing unit (CPU) screen for the VR Defender remotely operated vehicle (ROV) in search of a simulated maritime improvised explosive device (IED). CRABEx is a training exercise that certifies Navy EOD units of action under Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EODGRU) 2, ensuring a ready and more lethal EOD force.
