Roder and I returned to Fort Lamy, and thereawaited the steamer which was to convey us to Arch-ambault. Monsieur Ruet was also of the party, havingkindly acted as guide to the Duke as far as Lamy, andbeing now on his way back to Bangi, and thence hometo France.
