Some say it is a hybrid between a Nepenthes and Darliiiijloiiia Calitornica. Its Ivs. orpitchers are shorter and stouter than those of D. Cali-fornica, and more rounded at the mouth. The stalks ofthe pitchers bend out almost horizontally from the base or crown ot the plant and then be come erect. The treatment is muchthe same as for £> Califoinica, except that it must be kept indoors inwinter. It thrives well in a housewith OdontngUisum critpum andMasdevallia It is generallv suspended like Nepenthes The writeihas successfully grown it when itwas potted in peat or sphagnum m a. Youne leaves of Darlingtonia small pot which was inverted into a larger pot, with alayer of sphagnum packed in between, and the wholekept constantly moist.
