Imonj^ the many new varieties of Raspberries we offer these are believed tc be the most valuable. Many of the new varieties are a great improv^nent on old sorts. ROYAL CHURCH. The Royal Church is a very fine berry for the tn})]e and the home garden. We have fruited it for two years and con- sider it one of the best family berries, because of its strong growth, hardiness, productiveness, and the fact that it fruits freely for a longer time than others. We have had fine ripe fruit from early in July until the middle of August and later. The berries are very large, bright red, fine for canning. Flavor delicious, aro- matic and sprightly. A dish of these large berries, fresh picked, on the table, is an appetizing sight. Over one hun- dred and fifty berries have been counted on a single branch. The size of the ber- ries is seven-eighths of an inch to an inch in diameter. It is not suitable for market because it crumbles with handling. The canes are strong and fruit heavily. Fine plants 60 cents per dozen; $4 per 100. Prof. H. E. Van Deman, late promolo- gist, of Washington, D. C, says: "Royal The fruiting branches are long and heavily. liOYAl^ CHURCH.
