Ioannina is one of the best destinations in Greece for winter vacations, not only because of the beauty of the town and the lake, but because around the town you can visit some of the most beautiful mountainous regions of Greece, such as Zagorohoria (or "Zagori"), Metsovo and Tzoumerka.
