When grown in small quantities for private use, they arc generally sown in double rows, six or eight inches apart, and the tall varieties staked up by brush. Peas ordered by mail are subject to an extra charge of fifteen cents per quart for postage. Pints furnished at quart rates. Extra Early Varieties. Pkt. Cleveland's Alaska. The earliest variety known, smooth, blue, prolific and sweet. Height two feet, very desirable for early market gar- dening 5 Nott's Excelsior. One of the most valuable of all the wrinkled dwarf peas. As early as the American Wonder, while the pods are larger, fully as well filled, and there are more of them. It grows a half taller than the American Won- der and is a much heavier cropper 5 Bliss' American Wonder. One of the earliest and best known wrinkled dwarf varieties, grows about nine inches high, and is covered with well filled pods 5 McLean's Little Gem.
