The propagation of the grayling, which was undertaken the previousseason at Red Rock Lake, Montana, was continued under better condi-tions, and 5,300,000 eggs were collected. Consignments of these weresent to Wyoming, Minnesota, Michigan, Rhode Island, and Vermont, inwaters where it is hoped this fine food and game fish may be established. Report U S. F. C. 1899.
