Museum of the old cavalry academy and statue of the writer and poet Jose Zorrilla in the street Santiago de Valladolid, Castilla y León, Spain, Europe


The Cavalry Academy of Valladolid in 1852 was installed in the building a few years earlier had tried to use as a prison. The present building, built in the 1920s, is of great value, a legacy of historical and monumental architecture of the early decades of the twentieth century. Located across from Parque del Campo Grande, at the present Plaza Zorrilla. La Academia del Arma de Caballería de Valladolid se instaló en 1852 en el edificio que unos años antes se había pretendido utilizar como presidio. El actual edificio, construido en los años de 1920, es de gran valor, legado de la arquitectura historicista y monumental de las primeras décadas del siglo XX. Se ubica frente al Parque del Campo Grande, en la actual Plaza Zorrilla.
