Salt flats at the Salinas de Hortales salt mine in Prado del Rey, Cadiz, Andalusia, Spain, June 26, 2013. Built by the Phoenicians 3,000 years ago and used by the Roman Empire for centuries, this salt mine was part of the ancient Roman city of Iptuci. Located 100 kilometers away from the coast, this salt mine keeps on giving today organic natural salt in Prado del Rey village in the Sierra of Cadiz, and is called "Las Salinas de Hortales."
