The directors of the Trinidad Electric Company, Ltd., havesubmitted to the shareholders of the company the first reportand statement of assets and liabilities as of Dec. 31, 1902, andthe profit and loss account from June 1, 1901, the date whenthe purchased properties were taken over, until Dec. 31, net earnings of the company during the period of con-struction, as is shown by the profit and loss account, have beensufficient to pay the bond interest and leave a balance of$3,
