DAHLIA NOVELTIES AND VARIETIES OF SPECIAL MERIT This collection consists of new American and European introductions and also includes a few older sorts which are still scarce and which rank in quality vi'ith some of the best of recent introduction. City of Trenton (Decorative). A fine, new Decorative that has every qualification of a first-class exhibi- tion variety. In color, reddish apricot with rose suffusion with a lustre throughout the flower diffi- cult to convey in writing. The plant is of robust habit about 6 feet tall, producing flowers up to 12 inches in diameter; these are of splendid form, full to the centre on long erect stems. Plants, 50 cts. each; § per doz. Color Sergeant (Decorative). One of the best-all- around varieties grown, be it for exhibition, garden decoration or as a cut flower. In color a rich deep salmon bronze of one shade. A clean upright grower with perfect stems. Plants, $ each; .' per doz. Dr. W. A. Clark (Decorative). An immense golden yel- low shading to apricot at the centre; good erect stems holding the flowers well above the foliage. An improvement on the variety Eldorado. Plants, 75 cts. each; $ per doz. Edna Ferber (Hybrid Cactus). Always attracts atten- tion on account of its extreme size and beauty. Color glistening coral, shading to old gold at base of the petals; these are curled and twisted, forming an extremely full flower which is held erect on fine stems. Plants, 75 cts
