Birdsfoot Trefoil used to be only found in farm fields as a crop brought over from Europe, but it can now be found along roads, like the Marshland Wildlife Drive, due to vehicles unknowingly transporting seeds. Birdsfoot Trefoil has the potential to become a disasterous invasive plant because it chokes out sunlight and spreads quickly. Luckily, the plant at Seney has not taken over yet.
