The fire spread to ducting in the fast food restaurant in the Square. Four fire appliances from Godstone, Reigate, Banstead and an Aerial Ladder from Cherstey attended. The fire spread to ducting in the fast food restaurant in the Square. Four fire appliances from Godstone, Reigate, Banstead and an Aerial Ladder from Cherstey attended. The fire that broke out just after 7pm this evening (Wednesday). Staff attended to stop the fire from spreading by using a fire fire extinguisher with out success. At the height of the blaze 20 firefighters and officers wearing breathing apparatus used 2 hose and a thermal imaging camera.
