Some actors take a break during the shooting. The new film "Il sol dell'avvenire" (The sun of the future) by Italian director Nanni Moretti will compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. Set between the 1950s and 1970s in the world of circus and cinema, it will be released in Italian cinemas on 20 April 2023 distributed by 01 Distribution, before moving onto the Croisette in May. The director will turn 70 on August 19, 2023.
