Ludodactylus sibbicki pterosaur, illustration. This flying reptile lived around 112 million years ago, during the Early Cretaceous. Pterosaurs flew with wings formed from a membranous structure stretched between the ankles and a lengthened finger. This species is known from a fossil found in Brazil, and is named for the paleoartist John Sibbick.
