Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the US dedicated to remembering and honouring people who have died while serving in the US Armed Forces. A commemoration service was held at the Cambridge American Cemetery in the UK where 3811 US war dead are interred and another 5127 missing are remembered on a memorial wall. Military personnel attended the ceremony alongside family of those honoured and public. A flypast took place overhead including B-17 'Sally B' and two 'little friends' fighters
